  • Biology: Chapter 7-2 Workshhet Last 7 questions
  • Chemistry: Test on Chapter 5 tomorrow, we reviewed the chapter today. Did Flame Tests in the Lab.
  • Physics: Just finished Chapter 4. We will start Chapter 5 tomorrow - read ahead.

  • Chemistry: We had a Test on Chapter 5. We will start chapter 6 tomorrow.
  • Biology: We had a Quiz today. We worked on Chapter 7-3 and will continue tomorrow.
  • Physics: We had lecture and worksheet on chapter 5.1 and 5.2. We will continue to work on the rest of the chapter 5 tomorrow.

  • Chemistry: We finished chpter 6.1 today. We will have a Quiz tomorrow on the material we learned today.
  • Biology:  We are still working on Chapter 7-3 and will finish tomorrow. Boys had a very good Biology Lab - How the Cell works - all the organells?
  • Physics: We finished 5.3, 5.4, and 5.5 today. Students have homework associated with these chapters.
  • Life-Science: We had the Guest Lecturer: Mr Irv Salibury. Irv talked about the best evidences for the Young Earth. Tomorrow we will watch the DVD regarding the Radio-Dating of the earth.

  • Chemistry: We finished chapter 6.2 today. We will finish the chapter tomorrow.
  • Biology:  We finished Chapter 7-3. The Girls had a very good Biology Lab - How the Cell works - all the organells?
  • Physics: We finished the chapter 5 today. We will review the Chapter 5 tomorrow. Students have homework associated with these chapters.
  • Life-Science: We had the Guest Lecturer: Mr Irv Salibury. Irv showed us the DVD  regarding the Radio-Dating of the earth. It was very good.

  • Chemistry: We finished chapter 6 today. We will review the chapter Monday.
  • Biology:  We finished Chapter 7. We will have a Test on Chapter 7 on Monday.
  • Physics: We finished the chapter 5 today. We will do some problems associated with this chpater for the better part of next week - prior to having a Test on this Chapter.

  • Chemistry: Chapter 6 Test Tomorrow. We reviewed Ch 6 today.
  • Biology:  We had a Test on Chapter 7 today. We started chapter 8.1 worksheet today. Homework: to finish up answering questions 10 and 11 on this worksheet.
  • Physics: Projectile Motion Problems from the handout, Exercises 10, 11, and 12. Home work: Solved Problems 6 -9 and Exercise Problem 13.

  • Chemistry: We had the Chapter 6 Test. We just started the Chapter 7 today. Students will bring their Text Book to the class for this Chapter.
  • Biology:  Returned the graded Test on Chapter 7 today. We finished chapter 8.1 worksheet today. We just started 8.2 worksheet. Boys did the first portion of the Dialysis Lab.
  • Physics: I expalined three problems from the Projectile Motion handout: Example 6, 7, and exercise 13. Students are encouraged to finish the handout.
  • Life-Science: We started watching the DVD- Noah's Flood-washing away millions of years. We will finish it tomorrow.

  • Chemistry: Returned the graded Test 6. We finished chapter 7.1 - the s-block elements. Finish answering the questions in the worksheet for 7.1.
  • Biology:  We finished chapter 8.2 worksheet today. Girls did the first portion of the Dialysis Lab.

    Physics: We did the three Exercises from the Projectile Motion Handout: Exercies 14, 15, and 16. Tomorrow is the Quiz from the Chapter 5 Workbook Handout.

  • Life-Science: We finished watching the DVD- Noah's Flood-washing away millions of years.

  • Chemistry: We started reading the p-block elements. We barely finished Group 14. Students homework is to finish reading the p-block elements. We will review it Monday before moving on to Chapter 7.3.
  • Biology: We started the 8-3 Worksheeet.

    Physics: We did the problem: How high and how far a soccer ball will travel, if it was kicked with 20.0 m/s speed and a 30.0 degree angle to the ground? Then we changed the angle to 45.0 degrees. We are making progress.

We finished 8-3. Test on Chapter 8 tomorrow.

We worked on Soccer Ball problem again.

We finished chapter 7. We will finish the Lab assignment in the class tomorrow.

We had aTest on Chapter 8. We started Chapter 9-1.

I did another problem on the Board. The students did two more similar soccer ball problems.

We worked on "Properties of the Periodic Table" Lab assignment in the class today.

We worked on  9-1 worksheet. We are going to finish it tomorrow.

We had a Quiz today. We will have a Test tomorrow on Chapter 5.

We watched the first portion of the DVD - "Our Solar System - Evidence for Creation" - Spike Psarris.

We had Test on Chapter 7. Also worked on   finishing up “Periodic Table” Lab.

I returned the Graded Test. We finished   the 9-1 worksheet.

We had a Test on Chapter 5.

We started Chapter 8. Finished 8.1.

Taylor Allen and Kayla Cymbal did the   make-up lab with Miss Lisa. The rest of us talked around a few important   questions.

I returned the Graded Test. We did two   problems. Got input from the students about how things are going.

We Finished Chapter 8.2.

We started chapter 9-2.

We Started Chapter 6. We went over 6.1,   6.2, and 6.3 today. I gave the students some 8 solved problems handout for   their home work.

We finished Section 9.4. Boys did the   Molecular Modeling (VSEPR) Lab.

We worked on Cell Cycle (chapter 10-2).

We did Sections 9.8 and 9.9.

Boys did the Conservation of Energy Lab   with Energy Track.

We had a Quiz on Cell Cycle (chapter   10-2). We will do Chapter 10-3 tomorrow.

We started working on the   Concept-Development Practice Pages for Section 9. The rest is for home work.

The   students did class work Chapter Assessment for Chapter 9. We went over the   correct answers. Miss Mosher substituted for me – I had a doctor’s   appointment.

We   watched a portion of the NOVA DVD on Epigenome.

Students   did class work problems on Chapter 9.

We   went over Section 10.1. Boys did burn magnesium ribbon to make magnesium   oxide.

We   worked on Chapter 11-1.

We   watched a portion (space, time) of the NOVA DVD – The fabric of the Cosmos.   Boys also watched the Gravity portion.

We   went over the second portion of Section 10.1. Writing Equations.

We   went over Chapter 11-2.

We   started working on Section 10. We finished Sections 10.1 and 10.2.

We   continued Section 9.5 – Polarity of Molecules. We had a Quiz today. We will   have a Test (Take Home)Tomorrow.

We   finished a major portion of Chapter 11-3.

We   went over Section 10.3. Went over the Reading and Study guide questions for   these sections.

We   watched a portion of the History Channel Documentary on “How the Earth was   Made”. It was good for us to talk about as to without God you would need some   far-fetched ideas as to how the earth was made. Girls watched a portion of “What   you are not being told about Astronomy – our created solar system” Vol -1.

We   watched Our President’s address at the Newtown Memorial Service. We had   Chinese Food for Lunch.

We went over a portion of the Chapter 11-4 (Meiosis). We had Chinese Lunch.

We watched a portion of "What you are not being told about our Created Solar System - Astronomy" Vol - 1. Boys continued watching the same DVD.
