Classes and programs
College Level Courses
WCS truly differentiates itself with the number of college credit courses that are offered to our juniors and seniors. Over the past few years these programs have increased and now include the following:
Pre-Calculus
Calculus
Statistics
Business Management
Business Marketing
We are also approved for an Accounting Program and we are looking into the possibility of adding college level Economics and an Engineering Course as well.
The Statistics, Business classes and Accounting are done in conjunction with Monroe Community College.
Offering these programs provides students with a jump start on their college career during high school which saves significant tuition expenses and can enable them to
complete their college work in a shorter period of time. Students graduating from WCS are equipped to enter any profession of interest and college or university.
College Fair
Each year WCS hosts a College Fair in October where the High School students are able to meet with 20 - 25 Christian College Representatives to discuss programs of interest, academic requirements, athletic programs, scholarships, and many additional items. Along with this we also host a Financial Aid Information Night for parents to discuss options with a representative from a local university.
A partial list of schools that graduates have attended include: Roberts Weslyan, Houghton, Wheaton, Liberty, Cedarville, Geneva, Cornerstone, Grove City, Baptist Bible, Pensacola, and Bryan. In addition, many of our graduates have matriculated at such outstanding secular colleges and universities as Harvard, Syracuse, Clemson, Buffalo State, Columbia, R.I.T., Chicago, Rochester, Michigan and Virginia Tech.
