High School

Recognized as one of the leading High School programs in the area, Students in grades 9-12 at WCS are challenged with a strong academic program including a growing number of college level course selections designed to expose each student to many areas of career interest. These courses include Pre Calculus. Calculus, Statistics, Accounting, Business Management and Business Marketing.  Each year additional programs are evaluated to add to the program.

We also pursue the development of personal accountability and responsibility in the training of each student as they progress through the school. Coupled with solid biblical training, the balanced education students receive at WCS establishes them to pursue their interests in any field and at any college or university.

WCS also has a leading athletic program and is a member of Section V. Along with a great school environment, WCS has a first rate athletic facility where players and spectators alike are welcome to engage in great competitions.

College Placement

It is one of our highest goals here at WCHS that our students are excited and prepared to pursue a higher education. We encourage our young people to seek the future God has for them. We assist each student with their college search through the use of the state of the art Hobson college and scholarship search program. In addition, our guidance coordinator assists in such areas as scholarship applications, recommendations, transcripts, PLAN and PSAT testing. WCHS annually invites admission and financial aid representatives from several colleges as well as the armed services to share information with our students through presentations and interviews. During their junior and senior years many students take authorized college trips to visit various colleges and universities. This greatly aids them in this tough decision process. Our college acceptance rates are 85-90%, annually. For the first 25 years 80-90% of our WCHS graduates have pursued further education at many top Christian colleges, such as Roberts Weslyan, Houghton, Wheaton, Liberty, Cedarville, Geneva, Cornerstone, Grove City, Baptist Bible, Pensacola, and Bryan. In addition, many of our graduates have matriculated at such outstanding secular colleges and universities as Harvard, Syracuse, Clemson, Buffalo State, Columbia, R.I.T., Chicago, Rochester, Michigan and Virginia Tech.
